Gandhinagar: The city of Ahmedabad received 3.85 inch rainfall during 8.00 am to 6.00 pm today followed by Vapi 1.77 inch and Surat 1.69 inch. The city of Ahmedabad witnessed rounds of moderate to high rainfall throughout the day.

Meanwhile in other related development, 50,000 cu sec water has been released fro Kadana reservoir.

In one more development, State BJP chief has asked MLAs, MPs, elected representatives and office bearers of party to stay in their areas during 19-20-21 August and serve the needy people in view of heavy rain forecast.
