41 ft tall idol of Bahubali to be placed over 51 ft mound in Gujarat

A 41-ft tall idol of Bahubali will be installed over 51 ft high mound in Suvarnpuri Songadh in Bhavnagar district on auspicious day of Akshay Trutiya tomorrow.
The installation ceremony is scheduled to take place from 8.15 am in Jambudwip – Bahubali complex.
The initiative is attributed to Kanjiswami and Bahen Champa.
The statue was carved out in a single stone in the mine in southern Indian state Karnataka.
A vehicles with 150 wheels carried and brought the statue to Songadh. The journey had taken 45 days.
A 400 tonne granite statue will be placed on a mound which has no foundation because the stones are linked and inserted in one another using conventional technique.
The tall idol will be visible from Shatrunjay Tirth and 15 km periphery area.
