Rupani showcases CM dashboard at Chintan Shibir, asks each department to have its own dashboard

Gandhinagar: Speaking on the second day of Chintan Shibir at GSFC campus in Vadodara, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said his office has now a dash board that has latest details of 1700 parameters across the regional offices of 33 districts and 26 departments of the State government.
Rupani said he will directly monitor all the programmes and activities of government through this dashboard.
In the last meeting of second day of Chintan Shibir, the Chief Minister said the dashboard is like third eye. It will provide the details of what’s going on from Lakhpat in Kutch to Umargam in South Gujarat.
Rupani asked each department of government to have its own dashboard and do monitoring of government programmes.
Chief Secretary Dr. JN Singh and Chief Minister Office’s OSD DH Shah also spoke about dashboard initiative. He said the government had started dashboard with 200 parameters of 26 departments in October 2017, while today more than 1700 parameters are covered in this online monitoring system. Shah said a big wall is hosting dashboard at Chief Minister’s residence.
