More land acquired in Vadodara city for bullet train project; Rs. 30 crore paid to 22 owners

Vadodara: Rs. 30.80 crore amount has been paid to 22 land owners in Vadodara city for acquisition of 10,266 square meter land for proposed bullet train project. The total land to be acquired for the project in Vadodara city is 1,89,762 square meter. As per rule 80% amount which equals to Rs. 30 crore 80 lakh 10 thousand 989 has been paid to 22 land owners. Rest of amount will be paid after completion of procedures.
Manjalpur hased Amarkunj society has been paid Rs. 4 crore 4 lakh 17,000 crore sum for 868 square meter common plot. The total amount to be paid is Rs. 5 crore 5 lakh 21,961.
The areas that shall see aquisition are Akota, Gorva, Karolia, Chhani Maneja, Manjalpur, Vadsar, Vadodara Kasba, Nagarwada.
