BSF and police find drug packets in creek area on fourth consecutive day

Bhuj: The BSF and police team today found drugs/Heroin packets on fourth consecutive day in the marshy creek area adjoining Arabian sea off Kutch district in Gujarat.
A BSF official said that a few more packets of the drugs were found today. In last four days such packets worth around Rs 50 crore have been found. On Wednesday, such drugs were first found close to Medi area, a day later it was found close to Sawlapeer and again it was found yesterday.
He said that on May 23, the coast guards had caught a Pakistani boat with 6 crew off Jakhau coast and recovered more than 200 kg of such drugs. Before that large quantity of such drugs packed in 11 big sacks were thrown in the sea. The drugs being found now were from the same lot which were being washed away to the shore and creek area by waves.
