In every case, tested and positive, the doctors will take decision whether Covid19 infection is mild and whether the patient is asymptomatic or critical.
One with mild infection will be given options for Covid Care Centre, private Covid Care facility or home isolation. Based on symptoms, facility at home and economic capacity of patient, the decision will be taken. Those choosing for home isolation must have a separate room with attached toilet/bathroom. If all people in family are positive, home isolation will be very useful.
It’s worth noting that there are several conditions attached to permission for home-isolation. The doctor will need to give certificate whether the patient is mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic.Patient must have separate room to stay in isolation from other family members. There need to be someone for patient’s care available for round the clock. There needs to be coordination between care taker and hospital. Patien’s health must be monitored regularly and district surveillance officer must be updated about the same. Patient must download Arogya Setu mobile application. A patient must give in writing his assurance to follow the guideline. If any symptom is felt, the patient must inform the hospital immediately.
