Ahmedabad: Ten decisions taken in a meeting chaired by Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta in presence of Municipal Commissioner Mukesh Kumar and Deputy Municipal Commissioners of AMC are listed below:
-Ward-wise containment strategy.
-9 private hospitals with total 1,000 beds capacity as Covid19 hospitals.
-Private hospitals of 3-star and below category with at least 50 AC rooms to be identified as Covid Care Centre with capacity of 500 beds in each zone.
-Notice to Private clinics/nursing home/hospitals to open in 48 hours or lose license.
-Doctors not opening clinics to be asked to take care of Covid Care Centres patients or asymptomatic patients at home.
– All shops and home delivery services barring milk and medicines to remain closed for next 7 days.
– 500 screening of super spreaders per day in each ward.
– All branches of all banks except ATMs to be closed in Red Zones.
– 2 lakh Covid care kits with 4 soaps, 4 washable masks, Ayurvedic/Homeopathic alternate medicine to be distributed by already active surveillance teams.
– Various NGOs, Youth institutes to be involved in fight against Covid19.
