Level further rise at Ukai, Kadana and Sardar Sarovar dams

Gandhinagar: At 12 noon today, 96,053 cusecs outflow was recorded from Ukai dam in River Tapi while 1100 cusecs outflow in canal. 44,769 cusecs inflow was recorded from upstream. The dam is 93.25 per cent full and set to achieve full level with present water level at 104.30 m against full reservoir level of 105.16 m. Ukai is Gujarat’s second largest dam and the present level of water storage in Ukai is greater than that in Gujarat’s largest dam Sardar Sarovar.
Gujarat’s third largest Kadana dam at noon today was 96.05 per cent full with inflow of 41,677 cusecs from upstream and 15,900 outflow in river with 500 cusec outflow in canal. The dam is set to achieve full reservoir level this monsoon.
The largest dam of Gujarat , Sardar Sarovar Narmada meanwhile was 60.66 per cent full at noon today with 40,512 cusecs inflow and 2,956 cusecs outflow in canals coupled with 617 cusecs outflow in river.
