Gujarat CM likely to visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi next month

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi is likely to inaugurate the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit along with the Global Trade Show on 10th January 2022 in State capital Gandhinagar.

The 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit will take place from 10th to 12th January 2022. Over 15 countries are likely to join it as country partners.

Additional Chief Secretary of Industries and Mines department Rajiv Gupta informed that seminars related to various domains will take place in the 3-day summit. The pre-event programs of around 10 various domains throughout the state will take place prior to the vibrant summit, he added.

The 3-day global trade show is organised from 10th January at Helipad ground, Gandhinagar. Its theme is ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat from Atmanirbhar Gujarat’. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) for large and special projects will be made on each Monday till the vibrant summit. Only the MoUs which can be actually converted into projects will be inked.

After the inauguration of the vibrant summit on 10th January, the plan of how to provide more benefits to Gujarat in terms of infrastructure and investment under the Gati Shakti Yojana will be formed on 11th January. The actions will be taken to encourage the industrial development of Gujarat by the schemes of various sectors under Production Linked Investment Schemes. The detailed discussion about the schemes about production will be conducted. On 12th January, a detailed discussion about optimum usage of the technology and value addition by technology will take place.

The encouragement to medium and small enterprises is specially focused in the Vibrant Summit. A bankers meeting is arranged under the leadership of CM Bhupendra Patel for the same on Monday.

The road-shows are organised in the foreign countries for the publicity of the vibrant summit. The secretaries of various departments will go to the countries such as the USA, Germany, Netherlands, UK, France, Japan, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Middle East countries for the road-shows. CM Bhupendra Patel will join the road-shows at Dubai and Abu Dhabi on 8th and 9th December. CM Patel will also join a road-show in Delhi on 25th November. The ministers of Patel cabinet will participate in the road shows at Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai. DeshGujarat
