Kalika Mandir of Pavagadh to remain shut during 13-17 December

Pavagadh: The Kalika Mataji Mandir at Pavagadh will remain completely closed for the devotees from 13th to 17th December due to the repairing work.
Shree Kalika Mataji Mandir Trust has stated that the mandir will remain closed due to the construction work of an important portion of the mandir. The mandir will remain closed from Monday- 13th December to Friday -17th December.
The work of the renovation of the mandir is ongoing for a year in which three floors and four shikhars are being built. The construction of the two floors at the bottom is about to be completed. The arrangement of accommodating around 2 thousand devotees in the mandir will be made through the renovation.
The pillars and Shikhars for the mandir used in the renovation are from Bansi Pahadpur in Rajasthan. The carving of the shikhars and pillars is being done at Ahmedabad and Pindvada in Rajasthan. The amenities including reception room, trustees office, the place for items and literature related to the mandir, VIP room, control room, accommodation facility for mandir staff, and Prasad room are being built in the 3-floor building.
