Centre allocates entire vessel full of urea to Gujarat: Minister

Gandhinagar: The Government of India has allocated an entire vessel full of urea to Gujarat for the farmers here. The vessel’s size is 47,000 metric tonne. It is imported by IFFCO. Such allotment will make smooth availability of urea for farmers in the State. Gujarat has at present 2.50 lakh mt stock of urea and other fertilizers which is sufficient against demand. Sharing these details, Agriculture minister of the State, Raghavji Patel said that the Centre has approved 12.50 lakh mt urea, 2.50 lakh mt DAP, 2.85 lakh tonne NPK, 0.60 mt MOP and 1.50 lakh mt SSP for Gujarat. The State has witnessed 82 lakh hectare sowing of Kharif crops. DeshGujarat
