Rajkot gets a new flyover

Rajkot: People of Rajkot received a new flyover today, this one at Jaddus chowk on Kalavad road. Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel inaugurated the flyover and various other development works of Rajkot Municipal Corporation and Rajkot Urban Development Authority through video conferencing from Gandhinagar. CM also allotted houses to the beneficiaries of Awas Yogna through the draw method.
The new flyover is 370.39 meters long and 15.50 meters wide and has four lanes. It starts from AG chowk and ends before the Mota Mauva crematorium bridge. The project is worth Rs. 28.52 crore and it is executed by Ranjit Buildcon. The work order period was January 2021 to January 2023. Over two lakh people who commute on this route will benefit from this bridge.
CM said that Prime Minister Modi has vowed to make the cities of the country equipped with world-class infrastructure, and the state government has leveraged urban well-being work to make the city infrastructure more convenient in Gujarat.DeshGujarat
