Mann Ki Baat@100 conclave: Celebs hail PM Modi’s radio address program

New Delhi: A national conclave on “Mann Ki Baat@100” to celebrate 100 episodes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, is being organised in the national capital today.

During the conclave eminent personalities from various fields shared their thoughts on the Mann ki Baat program, here are some of those

Kiran Bedi, the first woman IPS of the country said, “Mann Ki Baat is the identity of real leadership, through which common people connect with the Prime Minister of the country. Many leadership qualities are hidden in Mann Ki Baat, through this PM Modi once again revived radio.”

Bollywood Actor Amir Khan said, “Mann Ki Baat has had a deep impact on the people of India, PM Modi has done a very historic thing.”

World Boxing Champion Nikhat Zareen said, “PM Modi boosts the morale and enthusiasm of the players through his #MannKiBaat, his words reach the farthest corners of India.”

Actress Raveena Tandon said, ” A new wave of change has begun in the society through Mann Ki Baat. Now we are able to know everything from far and wide in the country very closely thanks to PM Modi,”

PM Modi through his Mann Ki Baat has not only boosted the morale of local musicians in India but his commendable steps towards Indian music received recognition in foreign countries as well, said three time Grammy winner Ricky Kej about Mannki baat.

“When a nation’s Prime Minister comes and talks on the radio, it seems that a friend is talking to another friend. Through #MannKiBaat, PM Modi spreads awareness to the public about such people. People who despite being common, are doing special work,” said TV-Radio host Siddharth Kannan.

International Paralympic Shooter Deepak Saini said, “Through Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi has tried to raise awareness about sports among the people of the country. Along with this, special initiatives have been taken up to boost the morale of the players.”

Ex-CEO Prasar Bharati and Columnist, Shashi Shekhar Vempati said that PM Modi paid attention to the tiniest things happening in the country through his Mann Ki Baat.

“PM Modi is such a Prime Minister who does not hesitate to talk about toilets for women in Mann Ki Baat. Let’s talk about their menstrual health. This ends the conservative thinking about these things in society.” said Paralympian Deepa Malik

The inaugural session of the Conclave was graced by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar and Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur.

The inaugural session is to be followed by 4 sessions highlighting the wide-ranging themes of the Prime Minister’s interactions during Mann Ki Baat. Each session will be facilitated by an eminent panel. The sessions will highlight the transformative impact that Mann Ki Baat has catalyzed across sectors throughout India, effectively connecting the citizens directly with the Prime Minister and empowering them to become agents of change.
