August 08, 2023
Deesa: Heavy influx of Muslims from other States and also from Bangladesh to various towns and cities of Gujarat is causing lot of worries among peace-loving Hindus.
In latest, a former MLA of Deesa, Shashikant Pandya has written a letter to Chief Minister, MoS Home, District Collector and District Police chief and demanded imposition of the disturbed area act in sensitive areas of Deesa town namely Rajpur, Sadarbazar, Doliwas, Mira Mohalla, Bhopnagar and nearby localities.
The MLA has in his letter informed the government that these areas are being vacated by Hindus. In order to see that they don’t feel fear and they don’t relocate after selling their assets, they feel safe and they don’t face threats by Muslims, Deesa municipality should pass a resolution for imposition of the disturbed area act in upcoming general board. Such resolution should be sent to distrit collector of Banaskantha.
