Locals hold procession to welcome a local boy on joining Army as Agnivir

Porbandar: As many as 20 camels were decorated with as many cars to hold a procession to welcome an Agnivir jawan who returned home for vacation after 11 months service in Armed forces.
A youth is from Antines in Barda hills area of Porbandar district. He is Rabari Kamlesh Ajabhai Gurgatiya. He served in Armed forces in Bihar for 11 months after becoming Agnivir solder.
He was welcomed by the people of Antines and Adityana villages in grand way. The locals see this as a big achievement for their village. The felicitation event of Agnivir was also attended by Satapar Ordi’s Bhuva aata Amrabhai Ulva.
Agnivir Kamleshbhai’s uncle Vejabhai Jesabhai Gurgatiya also serves in Indian Army for last fifteen years. Barda Jungle Vikas Trust’s office bearers among others attended the felicitation ceremony in which colors were thrown in the air. DeshGujarat
