Love Shah, an Ahmedabad resident, by chance witnessed the 22-year-old cricketer quietly offering money to the homeless near Doordarshan Tower here in Thaltej during the early hours of Saturday and captured the moment on his camera.

Capturing this heartwarming moment, Shah shared the video, which quickly went viral on social media platforms. Shah recounted witnessing Gurbaz stepping out of a car, interacting with a woman on the footpath, leaving something beside sleeping individuals, and quietly departing. Later, Shah found that Gurbaz had left Rs 500 notes near the people.

This act of generosity, shared by Shah on Sunday, gained traction on social media. The video was widely shared, including by his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), amplifying Gurbaz’s 3 am Diwali gesture to ensure even those on the streets felt the festive joy.
