No big leader of Congress has visited Statue of Unity: PM Modi in Navsari

Navsari: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speaking at Navsari today pointed out that no big leader of Congress has gone to the Statue of Unity. He said this no Gujarati can forget this insult. He said Congress did injustice to country for decades. He also said how this government did the task of building a Dandi monument.

PM said in decades of Congress rules, cities got only slums, while this government is giving pakka house. In last ten years, we have given over 4 crore houses to poor, he said. PM said today the world knows ‘Digital India’, while Congress would make fun of it once upon a time.

PM said Congress has for a long run governments in the country and in Gujarat, but not cared about tribal and coastal areas. Here in Gujarat, BJP government, in entire tribal belt from Umargam to Ambaji, constantly worked for that, however it didn’t happen countrywide till 2014. PM further said when his government came to power, over 100 districts were in poor condition. Most of them were tribal populated district. ‘In last 10 years, we made them aspirational districts and today thanks to that 100 districts are speedily moving ahead with development,’ PM said.

PM asserted – Modi’s guarantee starts from there, where hopes for others end.

PM said Congress has no agenda. The party is gripped by parivarvad. They can’t see anything beyond parivarvad. He said Congress people also abuse Modi’s jati, but they forget, more they abuse, more the pledge to cross 400 (seats mark in upcoming Lok Sabha elections) will strengthen. More mud they throw, 370 lotuses will bloom even more.’

PM said – ‘In decades of rule, Congress could make 11 number economy. Meaning country would have lesser money. So villages or small cities couldn’t be developed. BJP govt in its 10 years rule brought India 5th largest economy from 10th. It means, today India and its countrymen have more money to spend, and we are spending. And therefore even in small cities, connectivity infrastructure works are being done. None would think an air journey would be possible from small towns.’ DeshGujarat
