Blast in parcel leaves 2 dead and 2 injured in Vadali

Sabarkantha: Two people died and two others suffered injuries after a blast occurred while opening an online-ordered parcel in Veda village of Vadali belt in North Gujarat. As soon as the news of this incident came to light, the villagers, among others, were in a frenzy.
According to the information received, a parcel in the name of Jitendrabhai Hirabhai Vanzara arrived in Veda Chhavani village of Vadali taluka in Sabarkantha. He had ordered a Home Theatre sound system which exploded upon opening. The explosion left 30-year-old Jeetubhai Vanzara and his 14-year-old daughter Bhoomben Jitubhai Vanzara dead. Two other girls, Shilpaben Vipulbhai Vanzara and Chayaben Jitubhai Vanzara, have also suffered severe burn injuries and were taken to the civil hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving the report of the incident, a convoy of Wadali police, including DySP and District LCB, reached the spot and initiated further investigation. The police are currently investigating how the parcel arrived, who delivered it, and how it exploded.
