Star Air discontinues its Surat – Hyderabad flights for now for a month
June 27, 2024
Surat: Star Air’s Hyderabad-Surat-Hyderabad flights will remain cancelled from July 1 to 15. No specific reason is provided for this move.
This flight was introduced on May 24 this year and was operational three days a week. Sources suggest that bookings for the Hyderabad-Surat-Hyderabad route are unavailable until July 30. It shows that the flight service on this route is discotinuied by Star Air.
In June, Star Air discontinued its Belgaum-Surat-Belgaum and Surat-Kishangarh-Surat flights. Following this, the Hyderabad-Surat-Hyderabad flight is now also cancelled. Number of flights from Surat International Airport is thus decreasing despite an increase in passenger numbers.
There is speculation that Star Air might follow SpiceJet in withdrawing all services from Surat. DeshGujarat
