Tweeples react to Rahul Gandhi’s claim about winning next Gujarat polls

Ahmedabad: The leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi, who was on a visit to Gujarat today, reiterated that the Congress party would win the next state assembly election. Following this statement, a flurry of reactions erupted on Twitter, where people seemed to take sarcastic digs at Rahul’s ambition.

One user said that Gujarat will always be Congress’s Waterloo, and that such delusion is not good for a mental illness patient.

Another user drew a parallel between Rahul and Aam Aadmi Party Leader Arvind Kejriwal, saying they both have gotten their hands on the same IB report that predicts AAP’s win in the Gujarat Assembly election.

One tweet noted that before every election, RaGa makes statements about winning, but in the end, the party loses badly.

Meanwhile, there were some tweets supporting Rahul’s ambition. One user wrote, “Definitely, this time Congress will form the government in Gujarat.”

Another user said, “Congress will definitely win in Gujarat. Every worker will have to fight against the BJP government, go among the people, and talk about Congress.”

One more use said, “Just go out in Gujarat with the wave against the ruling party and create hope for development.. victory will be yours!”
