Bridge city Surat to get two more bridges; Patil to perform groundbreaking

Surat: The bridge city of India, Surat will get two more bridges. Ground breaking for construction of two new bridges is going to be performed by union minister CR Patil on Sunday, August 4 in the city. The programme is hosted by the Surat Municipal Corporation(SMC).

Among the projects for which ground breaking is going to take place is a 6 lane railway over bridge over Udhna – Bhusaval railway line from Mansarovar society on 45 meters land in Dindoli-Godadara in draft TP scheme number 69.

The other bridge for which ground breaking is going to performed is a flyover bridge in accordance to BRTS route near APMC market on Surat – Kadodara main road in Varachha zone.

Ground breaking will also be performed for construction of an entry ramp from Ashwanikumar – Vallabhacharya road to Hirabag junction on Srhinathji fly over bridge before Kapodra junctiSuraton.

Ground breaking will be performed for laying of a transmission main line and rising main line for water supply to Kanakpur-Kansad, Pali, Sachin, Pardi, Kande, Umber and Talangpor areas that are newly added to the limits of SMC.
