Ahmedabad: The Department of Food and Public Distribution of India has launched a pilot project to transform Fair Price Shops (FPS) into ‘Jan Poshan Kendra.’ As part of this initiative, 15 government-approved Fair Price Shops in the city of Ahmedabad have been converted into ‘Jan Poshan Kendra.’ The inauguration of these shops will take place on August 20th at 10:00 AM at Fair Price Shop ‘Sabarmati Madhyamvarg Co. Ltd.,’ Shop No. 04, Kabir Chowk, Sabarmati, by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi through a virtual medium, DeshGujarat.
