Gujarat govt approves Rs. 32 crorae for two-lane widening of highways in Banaskantha

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has approved Rs. 32 crore sum for two-lane conversion of 20.10 km roads connecting Rah – Changda – Luvana – Morthal and Luvana – Bavera in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat.
These roads are presently 3.75 meters wide. They are to be widened to 7 meters in two-lane form, for which the sum is allocated by the Chief Minister.
These roads are important as they connect Tharad, Dhanera and Radhanpur – Tharad – Sanchor national highway. The Chief Minister has taken a decision to approve Rs. 32 crore on this project in reseponse to representations made by the local elected representatives and local rural persons.
Once completed, these roads will become 7 meter wide from 3.75 meters and a 25 km two lane road will be availabel to travel to Rajsthan from Banaskantha. DeshGujarat
