Situation of water in important dams of Gujarat at 9 am today; Kadana lately starts filling up

Gandhinagar: Presented below is the report showing the situation of water level, inflow, outflow, etc. in some of important dams across Gujarat. It can be seen that outflow from Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam is nearly 4 lakh cusecs, while outflow from Ukai dam is now over 2.46 lakh cusecs. In some really good news, Kadana Dam, which is the state’s third largest dam, has lately started getting the inflow required to up its water level this monsoon. Kadana had an inflow of over 2.36 lakh cusecs as of 9 am today, thanks to which the storage has crossed the 60 percent mark.
At 9 am, Sardar Sarovar dam, which is 88.77% full, had an inflow of over 390000 cusecs, while Ukai is over 80% full and is getting an inflow of 2.47 lakh cusecs. Another dam in South Gujarat, Damanganga, is also getting an inflow of 55000 cusec, while around 38000 cusec of water is being relied upon downstrem with its 8 gates open. DeshGujarat
