He exposed his and Congress’s hidden intentions: Gujarat CM on Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on reservation

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP leader Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday slammed the Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP, Rahul Gandhi, for making statements about India’s reservation policy during his foreign trip to the US.
Chief Minister Patel, in an X (formerly Twitter) post, said, “It does not befit Rahul Gandhi to make statements against India’s reservation policy from foreign soil. By talking about abolishing reservation, he has revealed his and the Congress party’s hidden intentions. Their apathy and insensitivity towards the problems of the backward and oppressed classes of the country is regrettable. Confusing the countrymen on the issue of reservation is not only an insult to SC, ST, and OBC classes, it is also an insult to the makers of the Constitution. Bharatiya Janata Party will not allow any of their tricks to end reservation to succeed.”

CM Patel’s tweet followed Gandhi’s remarks to students at Georgetown University in the United States, where he stated that the Congress might consider ending reservations once “India becomes a fair place,” implying that it is not so at present. DeshGujarat
