13 talukas had 1 inch + rain in Gujarat upto 6 pm today

Junagadh: With the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a heavy rain forecast for some parts of the state, as many as 41 talukas witnessed rain today between 6 AM and 6 PM. Among these, Mendarda, Maliya Hatina, and Keshod talukas, all located in Junagadh, received heavy rainfall of over 64.5 mm. Mendarda recorded the highest rainfall of up to 3.54 inches, followed by Maliya Hatina with 2.76 inches and Keshod with 2.72 inches. Talukas that received over an inch of rain also included Umarpada, Kaprada, Palsana, Lathi, Lalpur, Dolvan, Vaghai, Valia, Lilia, and Subir. The largest city in Gujarat, Ahmedabad, also witnessed rain after 2 PM today, recording 0.39 inches of rainfall between 2 PM and 4 PM.
