All the devotees can now hoist Dwaja at Shikar of Dakor Mandir

Kheda: The Dakor Temple Trust today announced that all devotees will now be able to hoist the flag atop the Shikars of Ranchod Rai Mandir. As per the decision of the temple committee, any devotee wishing to offer a flag at the main Shikar can do so with an offering of Rs. 500. For offering the flag at any other Shikar of the temple, devotees can contribute according to their capacity.
Devotees are rejoicing over the decision by the temple trust, which was announced today on Kartik Poornima. On this day, Lord Ranchhod Rai arrived in Dakor from Dwarka. Today marks the completion of 869 years since the arrival of Raja Ranchhod Rai. A large crowd of devotees was seen in the temple from early morning during Lord’s Mangala Aarti at 4:30 AM.
Devotees had lined up for darshan since late last night, and at 4:30 AM, the entire temple resounded with the chant of “Jai Ranchhod Makkar Chor Naad” during the Mangala Aarti. Today, Lord Raja Ranchhod was specially decorated and wore a unique crown. The value of this tiara, which was once priced at a quarter of a lakh, is now estimated to be in crores.
