Rahul Gandhi likely to visit Gujarat on April 15–16
April 11, 2025
Ahmedabad: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Gujarat once again this month on April 15 and 16.
Gandhi’s visit comes after the recently concluded AICC convention in the city, where the main opposition party resolved to return to power in Gujarat by winning the 2027 Assembly elections. Though the polls are still two and a half years away, the Congress is set to kickstart its organizational efforts, beginning with Rahul Gandhi’s meetings with party workers.
Under the slogan “Nutan Gujarat, Nutan Congress” (New Gujarat, New Congress), the party is planning a complete overhaul of its organizational structure in the state. As part of this strategy, Rahul Gandhi will address district presidents on April 15. A detailed workshop will also be held to brief them on their responsibilities, the authority they will be given, and the accountability expected from them under the revamped system. On April 16, Gandhi is expected to visit North Gujarat. DeshGujarat
