Ahmedabad: The city is fully geared up for the grand finale of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, as Royal Challengers Bangalore go head-to-head with Punjab Kings today at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. With an estimated crowd of over one lakh spectators, managing parking and transportation has become a top priority, especially for those commuting via private vehicles.

To tackle this challenge, one can book a parking slot for their vehicle through the Show My Parking app. A total of 12 parking plot have been designated around the stadium premises. Of these, eight zones are reserved for four-wheelers, while six zones cater to two-wheelers.

The combined parking capacity is impressive: 4,500 vehicles for four-wheelers and 3,500 vehicles for two-wheelers, bringing the total to 8,000 vehicles.

To further ease travel from parking locations to the stadium gates, free shuttle and ferry services will be available from 4 parking spots. These will run continuously before and after the match, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for fans from distant parking lots to the main venue.

Fans can pre-book their parking slots using the Show My Parking app with these easy steps:

Parking Access & Entry Guidelines

• Online Booking Recommended: Avoid last-minute stress by securing a spot via the app.

• On-Site Parking: Available but limited. You may need to walk a few kilometers to the stadium. Early arrival is strongly advised due to expected traffic and security checks.

Ahmedabad Metro and Late-Night Bus Services Extended

It is also noteworthy that Narendra Modi Stadium is well connected by Ahmedabad Metro as well as BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) and AMTS (Amdavad Municipal Transport Service).

To accommodate the massive crowd expected at the IPL 2025 final, Ahmedabad Metro services will run until 12:30 AM on June 4 with a train running every 8 minutes. The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has announced a special paper ticket, priced at ₹50 per person, which will be mandatory for late-night travel.

These special tickets can be pre-purchased from major metro stations, including Cross Road, Apparel Park, Kalupur, Old High Court, Thaltej, Motera, Sabarmati, Ranip, Vadaj, and Jivraj stations.

To ease the rush after the match, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation will run additional AMTS (Amdavad Municipal Transport Service) buses from 10:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

These buses will depart from Acher Depot near Narendra Modi Stadium and will cover routes toward Maninagar, Odhav, Vasna, Ujala Circle, and Narol. The fare for these late-night buses has been fixed at ₹30 per passenger, regardless of the destination. DeshGujarat
