Ahmedabad civic body seals Martino’z Pizza outlet

Ahmedabad: Ahead of the Diwali festival, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has stepped up inspections across the city to ensure public health and food safety. During these checks, AMC officials sealed Martino’z Pizza located on University Road in the Gulbai Tekra area after unhygienic conditions and pest infestation were found in the kitchen.
In addition, Chicken 65 in Vastrapur and Gayatri Khaman House in Thakkarnagar have been served notices for operating without a valid food license and for hygiene-related violations, respectively. The civic body has intensified its monitoring drive to prevent any compromise on food quality during the festive season. In the last week alone, from September 28 to October 4. the Food Department of the civic body collected 108 samples of ghee, desserts, fafda, jalebi, and other food items. DeshGujarat
