Four Injured in Leopard Attack in Nadiad Village; Video Goes Viral

Nadiad: Four individuals sustained injuries in a leopard attack in Udhmatpura village of Thasra taluka this afternoon. The incidents reportedly occurred in an area where buffaloes were tied. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing one of the victims being struck and thrown by the big cat.

The sudden appearance of the leopard caused panic, with villagers running to safe locations. One person was attacked severely during the chaos, and three others were injured in the commotion. The prompt response of 108 ambulance services ensured that the injured were swiftly taken to nearby hospitals.

Medical Response and Treatment

Dr. Viraj Patel of CHC Thasra confirmed that four patients were admitted following the leopard attack. Among them, 34-year-old Arjunbhai Tadpada sustained the most serious injuries, including a dislocated left arm. Due to the severity of his condition, he was referred to Nadiad Civil Hospital for further treatment.

The other three victims sustained minor injuries and received primary treatment at CHC Thasra before being discharged.
