Ahmedabad Metro Phase-2 Expansion: GMRC Invites Bids for Geotechnical Investigation

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited has invited e-tenders for carrying out geotechnical investigation works for two key sections of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project – Phase 2, according to the latest Notice Inviting Tender (NIT).
The tender seeks qualified and experienced agencies for investigation work on:
Phase-2A: Airport Line
6.032 km (elevated viaduct and underground stretch) with five stations
Phase-2B: GIFT City Extension Line
3.33 km elevated viaduct with three stations
The estimated cost of the work is ₹2.14 crore, with a completion deadline of four months from the award of contract.
The tender forms part of GMRC’s ongoing efforts to accelerate work on the critical Phase-2 expansion, which will enhance metro connectivity between Motera, the international airport, Gandhinagar, and GIFT City.
