Traffic diversions announced in Ahmedabad for India–South Africa T20 match at Narendra Modi Stadium
December 19, 2025
Ahmedabad: In view of the anticipated heavy turnout for the India–South Africa T20 match scheduled on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, the city police commissioner has announced traffic diversions around the venue. Several roads leading to the stadium will face vehicular restrictions to avoid congestion and ensure public safety.
With large crowds, including VVIPs and cricket fans, expected to attend the match, special traffic arrangements have been put in place to regulate the movement of vehicles and manage the flow of spectators in the stadium precinct.
As part of the plan, the stretch from Janpath T Junction to the stadium’s main gate—via Krupa Residency T Junction and Motera village T Junction—will remain closed to all vehicular traffic.
To facilitate movement, alternative routes have been earmarked. Vehicles will be permitted to travel from Tapovan Circle through ONGC Crossroads, Visat T Junction, Janpath T Junction and Powerhouse Crossroads up to Prabodh Raval Circle. Traffic will also be allowed from Krupa Residency T Junction via Sharan Status Crossroads and Bhat Koteswar Road towards Apollo Circle. DeshGujarat
