Amit Shah to launch ₹330-crore projects during Ahmedabad visit on Dec 28

Ahmedabad: Union Home and Cooperation Minister and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha MP Amit Shah will be in his home state of Gujarat on December 28. During the visit, he will attend a series of public and official programmes in Ahmedabad, including the inauguration of development projects worth around ₹330 crore carried out by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC).

As per the schedule, Amit Shah will begin the day by attending IMA Netcon 2025, organised by the Indian Medical Association, at Club 07 in Shela at around 10:15 am.

This will be followed by the inauguration of the Western Trunk Sewer Line (drainage pipeline) project constructed by the AMC near Gopal Farm on SP Ring Road, Shela, at around 11:30 am.

At around 12:00 pm, Shah will hand over sanads to 308 households of Nava Vanjar village, resolving a long-pending issue faced by residents rehabilitated after floods who were unable to sell or transfer their properties due to non-issuance of ownership documents.

Later in the day, he will unveil the statue of Lord Ganpati and inaugurate the Phase-I pilot project of the Iconic SG Highway Corridor near Pakwan Circle, Bodakdev. The event is scheduled to take place in the afternoon at around 1 pm.

At 3:45 pm, Shah will inaugurate the Youth Business Mahasammelan 2025, organised by the Vishva Umiya Foundation at Vishva Umiya Dham, Jaspur.

In the final event of the day, Shah will attend the play ‘Namotsav’, a cultural programme based on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to be held at Sanskardham, Godhavi, at 5:45 pm. DeshGujarat
