AAP Kisan Morcha President Raju Karpada Resigns from All Party Posts

Ahmedabad: In a significant setback to the party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kisan Morcha president Raju Karpada has resigned from all party posts.

In his resignation letter addressed to party convener Arvind Kejriwal, Karpada stated that he was stepping down from all posts and responsibilities due to personal reasons, saying it was not possible for him to continue fulfilling his current duties. He also expressed gratitude to the party for the opportunity, respect, and support extended to him.

In a Facebook post, Karpada informed supporters that his decision might come as a shock, adding that he had devoted significant time and priority to strengthening the party while balancing family responsibilities. He apologised if his actions had hurt anyone’s sentiments and thanked the national and state leadership, colleagues, and farmers for their support.

Karpada, considered a prominent farmer leader within the party, had joined AAP around 2021–22 and later contested the 2022 Assembly election from the Chotila constituency. DeshGujarat
