Ventura AirConnect Resumes Flight Services from Surat to Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Rajkot and Amreli

Surat: Ventura AirConnect, Surat’s regional airline, has resumed daily flight services connecting the city with Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, and Amreli, significantly reducing travel time between South Gujarat and the Saurashtra region. The short-haul flights now enable passengers to reach Bhavnagar in about 30 minutes, Amreli in 45 minutes, and Ahmedabad and Rajkot in nearly 60 minutes.

Ventura AirConnect has been operating regional connectivity services for more than 11 years using Cessna Grand Caravan nine-seater aircraft. However, the airline’s operations from Surat International Airport had remained suspended since January 7, causing growing inconvenience and dissatisfaction among passengers, traders, and business travellers.

The disruption occurred following the expiry of the airline’s agreement under the Gujarat government’s Viability Gap Funding (VGF) scheme. As the agreement was pending renewal, flight operations remained halted for around two months.

In a recent expansion, the company introduced an ultra-safe Pilatus PC-12 eight-seater aircraft for charter services, catering to emergency and corporate travel needs across Gujarat. It has also launched a dedicated organ-transport air service approved for rapid inter-city transfer of human organs, aimed at saving lives through timely medical logistics.

Additionally, Ventura AirConnect has established Surat’s first advanced aircraft maintenance facility, expected to attract aircraft from across India and position the city as a competitive maintenance hub amid congestion and high costs at major airports such as Mumbai and Ahmedabad. DeshGujarat
