Rail Minister to Flag Off New Sabarmati – Lalgarh Express on June 21

Ahmedabad: Western Railway has announced a new train service to further strengthen rail connectivity between Gujarat and Rajasthan. A new daily express train will be introduced between Sabarmati (Ahmedabad) and Lalgarh (Bikaner). Earlier, the Railway Board had shared the route and schedule details of the new service, and it has now been announced that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off the new train from Bikaner on June 21, 2026.

The Railway Minister will flag off the inaugural run of the train at around 9:30 am from Lalgarh station following the International Yoga Day event.

Under the regular service, Train No. 19407 Sabarmati–Lalgarh Express will depart from Sabarmati daily at 5:55 pm from June 22 and will reach Lalgarh the next day at 8:10 am.

The return service, Train No. 19408 Lalgarh–Sabarmati Express, will depart from Lalgarh daily at 9:05 pm from June 23 and will arrive at Sabarmati the next day at 11:30 am.

The train will halt at Mehsana, Patan, Bhildi, Dhanera, Raniwara, Marwar Bhinmal, Modran, Jalore, Mokalsar, Samdari, Luni, Jodhpur, Gotan, Merta Road, Nagaur, Nokha and Bikaner stations. DeshGujarat
