BJP wins Manjalpur by-poll in Gujarat

Vadodara: Counting of votes for the Manjalpur Assembly by-election in Vadodara concluded today afternoon. BJP candidate Satish Patel won the election by margin of over 30,000 votes.
The by-poll was necessitated by the sudden passing away of Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Yogesh Patel who was from BJP.
The by-poll had only two candidates, representing the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress.
Manjalpur is located within Vadodara city.
