Rajpath Club announces 186-acre third campus on Ahmedabad – Dholera corridor

Ahmedabad: Rajpath Club on Wednesday unveiled plans for its third campus, which will come up on 186 acres (around 300 bighas) near Varna village, close to Vataman Chowkdi on the Ahmedabad-Dholera corridor. This campus will be around 15 km from the upcoming Dholera International Airport.

The project will be developed in multiple phases and is planned to feature a large green zone, or oxygen park, along with wellness and community facilities. According to club officials, the land acquisition is part of the club’s long-term expansion strategy to cater to its growing membership. Detailed master plans will be revealed gradually as the project progresses.

With this expansion, Rajpath Club will operate three campuses: its existing facility on SG Highway, the Rajpath Club Resort at Vayna village in Kalol taluka, and the upcoming campus near Varna.

Club sources said the Vayna resort is likely to become operational within the next eight months. The resort will include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, along with a range of sports and recreational amenities.

In recent years, the club has significantly upgraded its facilities to accommodate rising interest in sports, fitness and leisure activities. It has increased its tennis courts from two to four, added a second temperature-controlled swimming pool for year-round use, and expanded its indoor sports infrastructure with six table tennis tables, five badminton courts, a football facility, and dedicated areas for chess, carrom and bridge. The club has also introduced pickleball courts and modernised its entry system with fingerprint and facial recognition technology alongside smart cards.
