Anandiben attends probably her last set of public programmes as CM in South Gujarat

Gandhinagar: In possibly her last public programmes, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel toda dedicated Ekta Vann forest developed by department of forest, Government of Gujarat at Mota village of South Gujarat. She also performed ground breaking of Kavery sugar factory in Navsari district of South Gujarat. She performed another ground breaking at Agriculture Produce Market Committee(APMC) Surat for waste-to-bio energy project and food processing plant. Anandiben lastly attended organ donation related awareness programme and announced her wish for donating her body post her death.
These all public programmes were decided before Anandiben submitted her resignation early this week. She attended the programmes as caretaker Chief Minister post her resignation submitted to Governor yesterday.
Anandiben(74) will cease to exist as Chief Minister of Gujarat most probably on 7th August when person succeeding him will take oath. Though Nitin Patel is considered probable successor, formal announcement on her successor is going to take place on Friday at 4.00 pm at state BJP headquarters in Gandhinagar in the meeting of party MLAs and office bearers.
Anandiben didn’t utter a word in reference to her resignation and stepping down row in any of today’s public functions. In Surat APMC function before she could start her speech, people were seen shouting at TV camera persons as they were blocking the view of stage. Anandiben asked camera persons to fix the frame and sit down. She added: You are anyway not going to show this (her speech) on TV.
