Unacceptable to reduce sacrifice of martyrs to any state or region: Ahmed Patel
May 11, 2017
Gandhinagar: Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat and political secretary of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Ahmed Patel late in the evening tweeted that it is unacceptable to reduce sacrifice of Martyrs to any state or region. Shaheed Sunil Patel & Shaheed Dev Parmar were recently martyred in Kashmir, they gave their lives for India.
Ahmed Patel posted these tweets in reference to Congress ally Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s remark that none has martyred for the country from Gujarat which was sheer lie.
Earlier Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had in a tween asked: Do Rahul Gandhi & the Gujarat Congress endorse the anti-Gujarat mindset of their valued ally?
