Ahmedabad: The city received heavy rain today morning which started lowering down at around 10.30 am and stopped completely at 11.00 am. Two-three hours of heavy rain caused water logging in low lying areas and many stretches of roads. Gates number 21, 22, 23, 28 of Vasna barrage were opened in 2.5 ft measurement to release 7,387 cu sec water. As per the official figures received from main control room of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) average rain during 6-10 am today was 38.54 mm.
