Lion house, souvenir shop to open tomorrow at Indroda park

Gandhinagar: Forest minister Ganpat Vasava will open a new lion house at Indroda Park in capital Gandhinagar on Tuesday, November 27. A Souvenir shop will also be opened along with lion house.
10-year old Asiatic lion Sutra and 8-year old lioness Griva have been brought to Indroda park from Sakkarbaug zoo in Junagadh. After initial isolation period they are to be put on display for visitors from tomorrow noon.
Indroda park is operated by forest department of State government. It attracts 6 lakh visitors every year. It has 39 animals and birds.
