Passengers stranded at Ahmedabad airport as Spicejet cancels flight to Jodhpur

Ahmedabad: Dozens of passengers were stranded at Ahmedabad airport due to delay and eventually cancellation of flight to Jodhpur on Monday.
The passengers of Spicejet flight SG 2976 to Jodhpur were scheduled to leave for Jodhpur at 10.40 am. However, at around 11.00 am they were told that their flight was delayed. After long wait at around 1.00 pm the passengers were told that the flight was further delayed due to operational reasons. At 2.30 pm the passengers were told that another aircraft was arranged and it will take off. However as the other aircraft too faced technical problems(due to pressurization issue), the passengers were deboarded at Ahmedabad airport.
In another news, Spicejet flight 2937 which was scheduled to depart at 5:15 PM was as per the initial announcement delayed for over three hours and was to leave at 8:40 PM.
Meanwhile Jodhpur – Ahmedabad flight SG 2977 was also cancelled today due to which the passengers to Ahmedabad were stranded at Jodhpur airport.
It is learnt that Ahmedabad – Jodhpur passengers, stranded at Ahmedabad airport were given alternative option to travel to Jodhpur by bus arranged by Spicejet.
