Polling for Rajya Sabha elections postponed; ECI review meet on March 31

Gandhinagar: Election Commission of India (ECI) has deferred Rajya Sabha elections, polling for which was scheduled on March 26. The elections were announced for 55 Rajya Sabha seats nationwide including 4 seats of Gujarat. ECI will do review meeting on March 31. It’s worth noting that 32 states and union territories have been put under lockdown following coronavirus pandemic.
