ABVP asks Gujarat University to take strict action against NSUI leader who gave exam with mobile phone in possession

Ahmedabad: Akhil Bhratiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today asked Gujarat University to take strict action against a student leader of NSUI who has been spotted sitting with phone in university exam. ABVP said the university must take example to set an example.

ABVP also released CCTV footage in which NSUI senate member of Law faculty Harsh Adityasinh Parmar can be seen in exam hall at HA college with mobile phone in his possession. Harsh Aditya is son of Gujarat Congress spokesperson Jayrajsinh Parmar.

ABVP also released another CCTV footage in which one NSUI leader enters the examination hall when exam is underway.

ABVP in its note said that it has made representation before the university in ample occasions to demand actions against rogue elements of NSUI in university campus and colleges.

ABVP in its note further said that because a student sitting in exam with his phone is son of some leader, university must not come under any political pressure while taking strict action. It is the hard work of alert ABVP cadres, thanks to which CCTV footage have come to light.

ABVP also opined that university’s practice to give entire responsibility of examination to colleges is not good.

Meanwhile when asked about his son sitting in exam with mobile phone, Congress spokesperson Jayrajsinh Parmar in his talk with a news channel replied that he found nothing wrong in this. Harsh Aditya Parmar later also told media persons that he had seen his mobile phone screen just to make it silent.
