Kevadia: The Statue of Unity administration is likely to allow entry only to electric vehicles in the entire Statue of Unity area with the aim of making it pollution free.
PM Narendra Modi had suggested on 5th June 2021 to make Kevadia a no pollution zone by developing it as Green Kevadia through use of only battery operated electric buses, rickshaws and vehicles there. The administration is working on the same.
