PM Narendra Modi holds a 9-km road-show in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi’s roadshow is taking place from SVPI airport to Gujarat BJP headquarters in Gandhinagar. A nine kms route has presence of party-workers, supporters in large numbers on both sides of the road. Various stages have been set up for cultural displays.

PM Narendra Modi reached Kamlam after a 2-hour road show of 9 kms from Ahmedabad Airport.

PM Modi was with state BJP chief CR Patil and CM Bhupendra Patel in an open Thar car in the road show. They wore a saffron cap with BJP written on it along with the party’s symbol. PM Modi showed a V sign with his hand during the road show. He was welcomed with the performances of Mayur dance, Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam and so on on the way from the airport to Kamlam. PM Modi was welcomed with showering flowers when he reached Kamlam.

He was welcomed by the governor Acharya Dev Vrat, CM Bhupendra Patel, and state BJP chief CR Patil on his arrival at the airport. The chief principal secretary K Kailashnathan, chief secretary Pankaj Kumar, DGP Ashish Bhatia and other officials also welcomed him. Over 4 lakh people remained present in the road show to greet PM Modi. The students who have safely returned from Ukraine also welcomed PM Modi with playcards.

PM Modi later visited State party headquarters Shri Kalamam near Koba and addressed the party leaders.
