Netizens call out hypocrisy and duplicity of AAP as its two CMs visit Gandhi Ashram in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Number of social media handles today were seen calling out duplicity and hypocrisy of opposition Aam Admi Party (AAP) as Punjab Chief Minister and AAP leader Mann visited Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati in Gujarat. It’s worth noting that after becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mann took decision to remove the photographs of Mahatma Gandhi from government offices. Same Mann was today trying out Charkha, bowing down to Mahatma Gandhi in Sabarmati Ashram in poll-bound Gujarat. Mann was here with Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

Delhi based journalist Meenakshi Joshi stated in her tweet, “What if there is no picture of Gandhi in offices, they are running Charkha in Gujarat.”

Another user apparently a BJP supporting twitter handle stated, “There is no such kin, who is not looted by Kejriwal.” (Esa koi Saga nahi, Jise Kejriwal ne Thaga Nahi.)

An India TV journalist named Saurav Sharma states in his tweet, “Send a picture of Gandhiji to Bhagwant Mann. He will fix it in the office, perhaps.”

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, had said while taking the oath of office as the chief minister last week at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of Bhagat Singh, that government offices will display the photograph of Bhagat Singh and BR Ambedkar only instead of other leaders. AAP national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had said in the run-up to the February 20 elections that portraits of Bhagat Singh and Dr BR Ambedkar will replace those of the chief minister or other political leaders in all government offices in Punjab if the AAP came to power.
