Union HM Amit Shah to visit home state of Gujarat on March 18-19

Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is scheduled to visit his home state of Gujarat for two days on March 18 and 19. He will attend various events including a dairy industry convention and two university convocations. He will also visit the Somnath temple in Prabhas Patan.

On March 18, the Home Minister will attend the Indian Dairy Association’s 49th convention in Gandhinagar, participate in a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee, and launch a free food campaign at the Gandhinagar civil hospital. Officials also stated that Shah will inaugurate the Nardipur pond, lay the foundation stone for various development works of Vasan pond and Kalol, and attend Maharaja Sayajirao University’s convocation in Vadodara.

On March 19, Shah will inaugurate the APMC Kishan Bhawan in Junagarh, lay the foundation stone of the Junagadh district bank’s headquarters, and offer prayers at the Somnath temple.
